INTRODUCTION :

This course explores the importance of linking performance measurement with company  strategy to  ensure a  coherent  approach to  performance  management. Using contemporary approaches to performance measurement, this programme will explore the use of both financial and non-financial measures, as well as the challenges of controlling divisionalised performance.  This practical and engaging course will also consider how performance monitoring and appraisal can be linked to employee motivation retention and development.

• Understand the link between strategy and performance management
• Understand contemporary  multi-dimensional  approaches  to  performance measurement
• Use a range of financial and non-financial indicators to manage performance
• Develop appropriate performance monitoring frameworks in divisionalisedcontexts
• Utilise performance  indicators  and  performance  motoring  frameworks  to develop, motivate and retain staff
