API 650

 

INTRODUCTION :

Training API 650 standard bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang ketentuan-ketentuan  dalam melakukan proses desain, fabrikasi, ereksi serta testing untuk aboveground, vertikal, silindrikal, closed ataupun open top welded storage tank dalam berbagai ukuran dan kapasitas. API 650 standard berlaku untuk semua jenis tanki dengan tekanan operasi ±1 atm, namun kadangkala dalam suatu kasus tertentu tekanan operasi tersebut sedikit diatas 1 atm, meski demikian secara umum hal ini masih diijinkan dengan persyaratan tambahan. API 650 standard hanya berlaku untuk tanki yang memiliki bottom tank dalam keadaan uniformly supported dan dalam keadaan operasi yang nonrefrigerated dengan suhu operasi maksimum 930C.
