MOTOR CONTROL CENTER: OPERATION & MAINTENANCE
TRAINING OBJECTIVE:
Program pelatihan ini memberikan gambaran terhadap analisis dan proses dasar-dasar kerja motor, serta tata cara perlidungan, perawatan maupun penelusuran kerusakan komponen-komponen dari motor dan pengontrolannya. Sehingga setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini peserta mampu melaksanakan pengoperasian dan perawatan motor dengan benar, yang membuat motor tetap siap untuk dioperasikan.
TRAINING MATERIAL OUTLINE:
1. Magnetic circuits and induction.
Introduction, Magnetic circuits, Magnetic Materials and their properties, Magnetically Induced EMF and Force, Hysteresis and Eddy-Current Losses
2. Basic Concepts in Rotating Machines
Introduction, Elementary Machines, Generated EMF, EMF of Distributed AC Windings, Rotating Magnetic Field, Torque in Round Rotor Machines, Losses and Efficiency, Rating and Loss Dissipation, Maching Characteristics of Electric Machine and Load
3. Armature Windings
Introduction, AC Windings, DC Windings
4. DC Machines
Certain Observations, EMF and Torque, Compensating Winding, Commutation, Methods of Excitation, Starting of DC motors, Speed Control of DC Motors, Breaking of DC Motors, Efficiency and Testing
5. Induction Machines
Construction, Principle Operation, Torque and Power Out put, Starting, Cogging and Crawling, Speed Control, Deep-Bar / Double-Cage Rotor
6. Motor Control by Static Power Converter
Introduction, Solid-State Devices, Thyristor Motor Control, DC Motor Control through Converters, DC Motor Control through Choppers, AC Motor Control, Inverters, Forced Commutation
7. Maintenance and Throuble Shooting
