TRAINING OBJECTIVES :
To introduce pipeline construction quality management plan so that the training participant will able to control, inspect, and monitor the all pipeline construction phases so that pipeline later on can be operated later safely and reliably.
TRAINING MATERIAL OUTLINE :
1. Review Design Code and Construction Quality Plan
(Material Selection, Hydraulics and Pump, Pressure and Pipeline Thickness Calculation, Corrosion Protection – Coating and Cathodic Protection Calculation)
2. Pipeline Pre-Construction QA and QC Plan
(Construction Specification, Land Preparation, Excavation and Trenching, Ground Works, Ditching, and Safety Factors)
3. Pipeline Construction
(Pipeline Welding, Pipeline Laying, Pipe Lowering and Stress Analysis, Cathodic Protection Installation, Field Joint Coating)
4. Pipeline Post Construction (and Commissioning) QC and QA Implementation
(NDT – Ultrasonic, Radiography, Holiday Test, and Hydrotest, and Backfilling and Cleaning Up, Handing Over, and Operating & Maintenance Manual)
