INTRODUCTION :
Pelatihan ini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan wawasan secara komprehensif mengenai peralatan listrik Gardu Induk. Topik pelatihan ditekankan pada pengoperasian, Instalasi proteksi dan pemeliharaan peralatan, sehingga diperoleh sistem tenaga listrik yang handal. Pada pelatihan ini juga diberikan pengetahuan mengenai inspeksi dan maintenance peralatan Gardu Induk.

TRAINING MATERIAL OUTLINE :
1. Electrical Substation Overview (Substation function, Types of Substation)
2. Electrical Power Transformer (Construction, principle of operation, Transformer Specification, Transformer Connection, Cooling System)
3. Transformer Operation (Transformer Loading, Voltage Regulation, Paralel Operation)
4. Power Circuit Breaker Overview (Purpose/Application, Circuit Breaker Construction, Types of Circuit Breaker, Circuit Breaker Operation, Circuit Breaker Selection)
5. Fundamentals of Protection (Need for protection, Types of fault, Circuit breaker control circuits, Protection relay fundamentals, solid state relays, Digital protection devices)
6. Overcurrent Protection (Over current protection devices characteristics, Application to Industrial Electrical Utilities protection, Application to line protection, Relay settings)
7. Relay input sources (VTs, CTs, CVTs, CCVTs)
8. Overvoltage Protection (Overvoltage Sources, Types of Arrester, arrester selection)
9. Transformer protection (Overload, differential, sudden pressure, over temperature, low oil, etc)
10. Line/Feeder protection (directional comparison, blocking, unblocking, transfer trip, etc)
11. Coordination of Protection System (Primary and back-up protection, Need for coordination of settings, Relay/fuse coordination, Relay/recloser coordination, Fuse/recloser coordination.)
12. Maintenance and Inspection
