2. Hydraulic Symbol
Circuit Elements, Fluid Pumps, Power Units, Reservoir, Hydraulic Valves, Control Devices, Miscellaneous Units.
3. Fluid-Power Pumps and Motors
Purposes, Types of Pumps, Pumps Characteristics, Pump Efficiencies, Selection Criteria, Pumps Troubleshooting, Types of Motors, Motors Efficiencies, Selection Criteria, Hydrostatics Transmissions, Maintenance, Troubleshooting.
4. Hydraulic Cylinders
Purposes of Cylinder, Types of Cylinders, Cylinder Calculations, Regeneration, Load Analysis, Selection Criteria, Troubleshooting.
5. Filtration of Hydraulic Fluids
Purposes, Types of Fluid Filters, Contamination, Cleaning Devices, Filter Housing, Filter Operation and Maintenance, Fluid Storage and Handling, Troubleshooting.
6. Fluid-Temperature Control
Purposes, Heat Exchangers, Reducing Fluid-Temperature Rise.
7. Valves
Purposes, Pressure-Control Valves and Its Types, Flow-Control Valves and Its Types, Directional-Control Valves and Its Types, Maintenance and Troubleshooting Tips.
8. Ancillary Devices
